Details: I have a 1997 Cadillac Seville STS that I dont have the time or energy for right now.... It all started when water was dropped into the instrument panel and the panel blowing out. We got a new panel and replaced it. Thinking this would solve the problem but it brought on more. We were having sertcurity system problems (due to te panel being replaced)...We solved that problem and figured it should fire right up but NO LUCK... So we purchased a OBD-II scan tool and ran it on the car. It only gave us one problem code...and that was the code pertaining to the EGR valve. So we purchased a new one and began work on the car. Shortly after we started the process we realized that it was going to be a difficult task. 3 of 4 bolts came off easily and the fourth was in a impossible spot to get to but we were able to remove the fourth bolt. After replacing the valve and 3 of 4 bolts we came to the problem of how we were going to manage getting the fourth boltback on. We tried EVERYTHING from gadgets and contraptions we made to putting my 8 year old under the car but still NO LUCK.... So as it sits right now....1 BOLT AWAY FROM FIRING UP I will take $1800 for the car as a whole. I will consider parting out as well if that is the route you want to go.
