The paint, interior, and motor rebuild was professionally done about 12 years ago. The car still runs and looks great !!!! The chrome looks good except the driver´s side bumper gaurd (see photo) and one of the exhaust gaskets will need replaced, you can hear it when the car is started. THIS IS A MUST SEE FOR COLLECTORS. Details: I've decided to sell my cool "old school" Classic 1972 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. This is a very nice mostly original survivor car that came out of an estate. I bought it from the son of the original owners. It was garaged most of it's life and it really shows the care. Hard to believe it is 40 years old. I'm a Caddy guy and I know just how hard it is to find a Classic Coupe let alone one in this condition with low mileage. It has only 79,000 original miles on it and has many new parts installed on it. New Battery, New Exhaust, New Tires , New shocks and much more. The car was repainted several years ago in the original color of Mayfair Gray Metallic (charcoal) and was done with a basecoat / clearcoat. It is very sharp and shiny but does have a few small chips and touch-up spots as you would expect for a car of this vintage. Looks like new from a few feet away. All the chrome is near perfect and the White vinyl top is a 9 on a 10 scale. All power windows / locks work great and there are no marks in any of the glass. The car has a loaded comfy White leather interior with nice black carpeting and a black dashboard. There is very little wear inside and no cracks on the dash. Indeed this is a rare investment quality collector vehicle and will be great for cruising with the family to car shows etc. It needs very little to be show ready. It will really scoot too !! It has a powerful 472 cubic inch V8 rated at 375 horsepower coupled to a 400 turbo Hydramatic transmission. Of course it is loaded with Cadillac options. It comes with the original floormats with the Caddy crests and can come with different tires and wheels. I have 16 inch Dayton spoke wire wheels and Vogue tires if you would like. This car would make a perfect car to restore fully or make into a Lowrider, Donk or Custom car. It could be painted any color with the white inerior and still be a show stopper. The car is priced very fairly and NO, I won't accept any lowball offers. I should be asking for 10 grand but realize the market is down with the current economy and it is here to sell. I may entertain a partial trade with some cash too, but prefer an outright cash sale. Come look and make an offer. Thanks for looking at my ad.
